Sort-of-Wordless Wednesday

This is my favorite time of year to live in New England. I love the foliage and the weather, the holidays and the traditions. I've been meaning to take some pictures of the leaves but just haven't gotten around to it. This weekend we're heading to Boston and Cape Cod, so I hope to catch some good pics! Until then, I just took a few cell phone pics of my own yard. I'm feeling a bit lazy on this rainy day, so this is pretty much all I've got for blog fodder. Enjoy.

Have a bevtastic day. :)

hi,
Similar interests, mutual respect and strong attachment with each other are what friends share between each other. These are just the general traits of a friendship.
To experience what is friendship, one must have true friends, who are indeed rare treasure.

I have added you to my blogroll, hope you can do the same thing for me so that we can have constant communication.

Michael? Is that you?

Ironically, my word verf is 'barph'

Love the pictures, I can almost smell the air.

Damn, I miss autumn.

And what's going on with my comment count? I was over 40 last week, now I'm at 37? I'd better get cracking. Otherwise that Mala's gonna pass me.

oooo, pretty...
I like this time of year, too. Your last picture is especially nice.

oh, and Elliott? as long as we're ahead of OWV, it's cool. ;)

It's nice seeing a picture of Bev's house in the daytime, it's usually darker when I have that same view.

Samsmama--I love you, you make me laugh.

Awww Bev your foliage is gorgeous! Fall is my favorite time of year..and I've always wanted to see New Hampshire in the fall. Can I come over?

Elliott/Samsmama ~ You two are hilarious! And that is also why I love you guys too.

... . . okay, recovered. kinda. WHEW!

ahem. it's my favorite time of year to live in DC too. except for the falling acorns and leaves. yeah, the leaves are pretty and shit but sometimes while driving i think they are a small bird or some other object and fear they will break my windshield.

anyway, have a lovely hump day!

In my first New England Fall, I went driving up around New Hampshire. The one thing I noticed is that the foliage was brighter on the trees in cemeteries.

The thought of Anonymous swerving around falling leaves is Sofa King funny.

OMG, I went to take a shower (made sure to shut the blinds, thanks to Frank), came back and my inbox had EXPLODED!

You're all freakin' killing me!

Michael, wow. Constant communication? That's kind of hard to keep up, but I'll give it a shot! ;)

You can all come over, just call me first so I can put on some pants. House rules.

Kate - I just used that "Liz Lemon-ism" this morning! Great minds....

Frank - YES! I shudder to think of why that is, except that they tend to plant a lot of maples in our cemetaries.

Kate said...

Thank you, thank you, thank you for getting that reference. I would kiss you if I were there. On the mouth.

Bev said...

Well, okay Kate. But no tongue.

Oh my FUCK!!! I had no idea what ya'll were talking about until I hit "comment"... LMAO! Michael is totally into you Bev! And when he speaks of this "strong attachment", are we talking bondage?????

Seriously! Mike wants constant communication, Stuart is constantly reviling me in the comment count! Geesh people, Bev has enough love to go around!!!!

Nice pics Beveroni. After today, all that fall foliage may be only found on the lawn! Grrrrr!!!!!

And Frank, dead people make great fertilizer! It's true.

Mala said...

Oh dear GAWD! I must stop drinking before 11am.... I wrote Stuart and meant Elliott. What? I warned you I sucked at remembering names

*sneaking over to Elliott's house to unplug his computer*

hee hee... word verf: wamidads
1. (n) hot men with offspring
2. (n) all the inner workings of a computer in my world. "If Elliott continues to beat me on the comment count I'm gonna yank out his computers little wamidads and doohickies."

Sorry comment again but I wanna to know what is the source of these images?

Heidi Renée said...

Well, OWV, if you could read you would know that she took them in her yard.

(Retard.)

Oh yes, I went there.

On to my real comment: I don't miss Massachusetts AT ALL. That said, I do miss fall colors. And seasons.

Bev said...

OM - I have shower scenes daily at my house, but I don't allow photos. Well, mostly.

Mala - nice shameless self-promotion. heh heh. Wait, you have a blog too? Who knew?
(I keed, I keed!)

Samsmama - I know, rules! I'm gettin' all strict now!

Which reminds me -- no name-calling, please. I know we all giggle at our language-challenged friends, but let's keep it kind, if ya don't mind. :)

Thanks for all the great comments! I love you, maaaaaaaan!

Goddamn, did a tour bus full of Asians just pull in here?

Nice photos. You live in the country. I think you should wear overalls to work with nothing underneath. Just make sure the straps cover your nips. Or not.

Yeah Bev, just leave the keys under the welcome mat and make you and your family scarce...mmmkay?

Bev said...

Cary - Yes, that's quite the visual. I would also add a cowgirl hat, just 'cuz.

OWV - Errrrr. Um. I got nothin.

Mala - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
