(You Know It's Never) Wordless Wednesday

Hey there!

Look! Over there on the right: 98 FOOBHs (Friends of Out of Bev's Head) on the wall!

*rubbing hands together*

Almost 100! You know how excited I get about stuff like this, I don't front. :) Thanks for all of you who've joined. I love each one of your faces, even this one.

It's gonna be a party up in here when I see triple digits! I might even have a little work done, but don't let that get around. I just want the blog to look rested and twenty-five again, is that so wrong?

Ok, on to some photos. I took these on St. Patty's Day.

Traditional Irish music provided by Laurie's step-dad's band. We were totally "with the band."

Balls for lunch! My favorite.

What goes better with balls than beer? Not much.

After lunch we saw this:

Most of the waitresses just wore some beads and a hat, but this one went all out.

Something tells me that she got great tips that night!

Look at this dapper young lad.

Mark is a humanitarian.

And that was pretty much my day. Well, after I found my car, that is. I admit that after dinner I went to the wrong parking garage and climbed to the top level before realizing I'd parked in a garage a few blocks away.

It was a long day!

TTFN!

Damn, that's SO much cooler than my St. Pat's day. I'm SOOO looking forward to the end of April.

Couldn't find your car, eh? I parked my truck on top of a tow truck, you know, just in case.
Looks like a fun day!

I always have trouble finding my car in parking decks. The worst was when I had a rental car. So embarrassing!

I just remembered that my father lost my car once. Need to get the rest of that story from my mother to know if he walked all the way home before she reminded him that he had my car, not his.

And I'm pretty sure (though not 100%) that he hadn't been drinking.

Now when my grandfather rear-ended the boat, I'm almost certain there was drinking involved.

Good luck getting to 100 followers. I've been stuck on 6 for a year now. I guess I should post more...

I went to McDonalds on St Pattys Day which makes me absolutely the greatest 1/2 Irish person on Earth because didn't you know McDonald's is Irish food...

Told ya I'd get my hubby to be your 100th. ;) Don't tell him, though. He doesn't know. Congrats, Bevalicious. I feel like I knew you when.

Good gawd, what is that waitress wearing? Were you at McHooters?

Congrats on your centenary, Bev! Now, are you going to post those pictures that you promised?

Congrats on 100! How fitting that you posted your Green Day pictures!
I enlist my daughter these days to help me find my car in big lots. That way, when we are wandering around lost later, she doesn't give me such a hard time. If you can't have a good memory, be creative, I always say.

Balls can be a part of a good meal. But I had a wiener for breakfast this morning.

Look! You are at 100 now!! Yay!!!

And that waitress looks like she has good tips, but sadly they are covered.

(And I bet they are not as good as yours!)

WOOOOOO-MOTHAHUMPIN-HOOOOO!

Look at me with my 100 followers! I'm bursting like George Costanza!

Thanks to Liz & Dave's amazing wife for making this happen today, and thanks to all of you who have already been listening to me rant & rave for a while now. :)

The bandages come off and the blog face lift will be revealed tomorrow. I hope you like it!

On Friday we'll celebrate the 100 mark. I'd do it tomorrow but it's TMI day, so we'll just have to whoop it up right before the weekend instead. Bring your party hats!

I'm so excited to be here for this most auspicious occasion. I remember when you were a spring chicken in your early 70s, Bev.

Did you see what I did there?

I unfollowed and followed you again.

That makes ME follower number 100!

Bev said...

Kari - Hi! I've missed ya, girly. You definitely knew me when.... :)

Mjenks - YOU STINKER! I noticed that, of course. I'm just glad I didn't see my blog during the few moments that I went back to 99. That would have seriously ruined my day, dude!

Sneaky sneakerson! Fine, you can wear the sombrero on Friday when we have the 100 party. Fiesta!

Samsmama said...

There's a sombrero? Seriously, don't tell my husband. He'll be super bummed.

Congrats, homeslice!

You're at 100! Woot! :)
I would be embarrassed to run into a waitress dressed like that... holy cow! I'm too much of a prude to see stuff like that. :)

If it helps ease the pain at all, Bev, I did the same thing to Sass to be number 100, 200 and 300 for her.

I'm awesome.
